- FACTS: Manager of the company store connected with the Buffalo Woolen Mills,
Worthington, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania. After ten years service as superintendent
he became a partner in the concern. He was a director of the Merchant's National Bank of Kittanning, Pennsylvania;
president of the Althom Sand Company; director of the P. McGraw Wool Company, both of
Pittsburgh; a stockholder in the Safe Deposit Trust Company of Pittsburgh; a stockholder
in the First National Bank of Parker, Pa.; a stockholder in the Kittanning Telephone
Company; a stockholder in the First National Bank of Duluth, Minnesota; a well-known
member of the Republican party, and has held local and State offices, having been school
director at Worthington; justice of the peace, and member of the General Assembly, to
whose lower house he was elected in 1900, continuing to serve until 1904, and in 1912
he was elected as a member of the Pennsylvania State Senate, for four years.
He was an elector when Roosevelt was chosen president.
