JOHN WESLEY CROW
John Wesley Crow of Moundsville RD 3, died at Reynolds Memorial hospital Friday evening shortly after being admitted. He was born in North Dakota, May 29, 1892, the son of Walker and Georgianna Wetzel Crow. He was a retired farmer and a veteran of World War I. He was a member of American Legion Post No 3.
Surviving are his wife, Jennie, three sons; Dewey Edward at home, Elmer Wayne at home, and Donal of Moundsville; three daughters, Mrs Florence Shaffer of Canton, Mrs Frances Cain of Middle Grave Creek and Mrs Margaret Bungard of Pleasant Valley; four sisters, Mrs Agnes Garrison of Pittsburgh, Mrs Earl West of Bonita Springs, FL, Mrs Aima Halpeny of Canton, and Mrs Cecil Lilley of Sherrard; fourteen grandchildren.
Friends may call at Lutes funeral home on Second street. Services will be held Monday at eleven o'clock with Rev Ray Williams of Pleasant Valley Methodist church, officiating. Burial will follow in Halcyon Hills Memorial Gardens.
The American Legion will hold military services at the gravesite.
